Size and functions of local team:
15 FTE in Amsterdam office part of a large group of 19 labels within the portfolio.
Currently 1 BDM and 1 SDR intern in the DACH team. Looking to add a mid-level BDR.
Product:
- Developed an Authentication system with 2FA.
- Implemented SMS for payment verification and debt reminders.
- Spryng created their own payment platform comparable to iDeal and Mollie and became very knowledgeable about payment platforms.
- Example: partnered with PostNL to send automatic SMS to inform of delivery
Role:
- Business Development Representatives (BDRs) handle both inbound and outbound leads and are responsible for creating and growing their customer base through upselling and cross-selling.
- Mostly handle SmB leads at first until they grow into a BDM role.
- Responsible for aftercare and implementation as well
- Employees have control over their promotion and growth with the ability to manage smaller deals independently.
- Deals vary between 2.5K -5K very high velocity
Must haves:
- 1 year of workig experience (sales or marketing)
- Very much a cultural hire
- German native
- Characteristics: Ambitious Curious Coachable Energized Intelligence
- HBO degree preferred (if 2 years BDR experience use common sense)
- Commercial mindset
Nice to haves:
- 1-2 years of commercial experience - but they know they offer a lower salary so also open to smart juniors
- Closing experience / high velocity
Salary range: 40-45K 20% commission on annual salary (team commission not individual)
