WHAT WE OFFER
The Data Analyst Intern will have the opportunity to apply their analytical skills and technical knowledge to real-world business problems. Working closely with an experienced Operational Excellence Department and cross-functional teams including Process Engineers Reliability Engineers and Production Management the intern will gain hands-on experience in data analysis visualization and using data to drive insights and decisions. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious student to develop their data analytics abilities in a corporate setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with data collection cleaning and preparation tasks
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns trends and anomalies
- Create data visualizations (charts graphs dashboards) to present findings
- Support the development of reports presentations and other data-driven deliverables
- Collaborate with colleagues from multiple countries.
- Participate in site meetings and learning opportunities
WHAT YOU OFFER
Basic Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in a bachelors program in a quantitative field such as Statistics Mathematics Computer Science Data Science Business etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of sophomore year
- Background or interest in chemical manufacturing or related industries
- Familiarity with programming languages SQL
- Knowledge of data visualization and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI)
- Familiarity with lean methodologies
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong academic performance with coursework in statistics programming and databases
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn
This internship provides valuable exposure to the data analysis lifecycle and how to transform data into actionable insights within a corporate environment. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and analytically minded student looking to apply their skills to real-world business challenges.
