The Position
Overall responsibility for Financial and Management Accounting including Invoicing and Accounts of five-star hotels in Colombo
Implementing and monitoring operational processes/ controls related to Finance
Working Capital Management
Manage the payroll
Evaluating monthly Sales & preparing monthly Targets reports
Annual Budgeting and Variance Analysis Exercises
Prepare reposts and submissions to relevant government entities
Develop the processes to improve the productivity of the entity
Represent the company in financial meetings with customers
Support management team with strategic financial decisions
Manage operational finance teams
The Person
A Graduate or Qualified in CIMA ACCA or Charted Accountancy
Should be a go-getter
Should be a confident & dynamic team player
3-5 years of experience. Experience in Travel/ Hospitality industry would be certainly an added advantage
Fully conversant in MS Office. MS Excel is a must
Knowledge in Accounting Standards Taxation Compliances and Legal aspects
Ability to meet deadlines is essential
End-to-end process ownership: understands what a robust process looks like and can build iterate and automate processes in a scalable and an efficient way
Effective at leadership well conversed in English
Strong planning and prioritization abilities
Must maintain confidentiality and discretion in all aspects
