Job Description

Atara High School for girls is looking foran assistant for its student success center. A primary aspect of this job is providing support and intervention as needed for astudent who struggles with emotion role also involvesinteracting with students teachers and the Director of the student successcenter to foster a positive and effective learning environment.

Key responsibilitiesinclude assessing the students emotional and behavioral needs delivering interventions that focus on emotion regulation social skills and problem solvingteaching and reinforcing de-escalation techniquesmonitoring and recording student progress and needs andcommunicating student progress and needs to theDirector. Other responsibilitiesinclude supervising students in their independent learning and assisting them when needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in education or a related field preferred.
Experience working in an educational setting preferably with high school students.
Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule:

Part time afternoons 4 days per week

Monday - Thursday 1:45-4:45
