Role- Senior Accountant Growing Accountancy Practice
Salary: 35000 - 45000 Benefits
Location: Sandbach Cheshire
Are you an ACCA qualified or part-qualified accountant looking to advance your career with a progressive accountancy practice Were working with an established firm in Sandbach seeking a Senior Accountant to join their expanding team with exceptional long-term career prospects.
What youll be doing:
Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies and sole traders
Managing year-end processes and compliance requirements Handling VAT returns and quarterly management accounts
Preparing personal and corporate tax returns
Supporting audit processes and liaising with external auditors
Mentoring junior staff and reviewing their work Building client relationships and providing technical advice
Assisting with business advisory services and planning
Managing your own portfolio of clients across various sectors
Developing strategic business initiatives and practice development
What were looking for:
ACCA qualified or part-qualified (minimum 2 years into studies)
3 years UK accountancy practice experience Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and tax legislation
Experience with Sage Xero or similar accounting software
Excellent communication skills and client-facing experience Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
Ambitious professional with leadership aspirations and business acumen
Commitment to long-term career development within the practice
