Switchboard Electricians

About the roles:

Were working with multiple clients who are on the hunt for experienced electricians to join their workshop teams. Whether youre after a short-term contract (26 weeks) or looking for a long-term opportunity with potential for ongoing work weve got options to suit your availability and goals.

Key responsibilities:

• Read and interpret electrical schematics wiring diagrams and layout drawings
• Wire and terminate switchboards and control panels to specification
• Assemble electrical enclosures mounting components and installing hardware
• Perform continuity testing insulation resistance testing and fault finding
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with electrical regulations

Qualifications/experience required:

• Experience building modifying and wiring switchboards including control panels and MCCs
• Knowledge of control wiring PLCs VSDs and basic instrumentation
• Proficient in reading and working from electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Current QLD Electrical Licence and up-to-date CPR/LVR certification (essential)
• A proactive and reliable work ethic with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
