Job Title: Restaurant Server
Pay: $9.98ph tips
Location: Kissimmee FL
FLSA Status: Hourly/Non-Exempt
Job Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests promptly courteously and professionally upon arrival.
- Create an exceptional dining experience by providing attentive efficient and friendly service while anticipating guest needs.
- Present menus answer questions about menu items make recommendations and provide up-to-date knowledge of daily specials events and promotions.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders and communicate special requests to the kitchen and bar.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely professional manner garnishing and decorating dishes as needed.
- Maintain knowledge of wine beer and spirits to enhance guest dining experiences.
- Monitor tables to ensure guest satisfaction respond promptly to additional requests and determine when meals are complete.
- Present checks with appropriate script and process payments or post charges to member/guest accounts.
- Ensure all side work (restocking service areas polishing silverware replenishing supplies) is completed.
- Conduct opening and closing procedures in accordance with company standards.
- Follow all food safety sanitation and company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean professional appearance ensuring the assigned uniform and nametag are worn at all times.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times ensuring the assigned uniform is clean pressed and complete with the required nametag.
- Attend all required meetings and trainings.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership to meet business needs.
- Adhere to all company policies safety procedures and brand service standards.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Minimum 1 year of experience required; Private/club operations preferred; hospitality experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of wine and spirits is required.
- Proficient with POS systems required.
- Excellent verbal written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail multi-tasking and time-management abilities.
- English language proficiency is required to perform the essential functions of this position.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
- Able to stand walk and perform repetitive motions (reaching lifting pushing pulling) for extended periods of time.
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs.
- Flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays may be required based on hotel needs.
