Job Description

Position Overview
Were looking for a proactive and self-sufficient Mid-Level Business Development Executive who can drive B2B sales with confidence and clarity. The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator (both written and verbal) technically sound in web development concepts and fluent in the WordPress ecosystem. Familiarity with Shopify is a plus.
This role demands a resourceful go-gettersomeone who can source their own leads contribute to a steady sales pipeline and think outside the box to unlock new opportunities. The candidate should be confident using tools like HubSpot for CRM and Canva for lightweight visual support when needed. Strong collaboration skills a solution-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently are key.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
  • Manage inbound and outbound leads with a focus on conversion and qualification
  • Independently source and qualify leads to maintain a healthy sales pipeline
  • Conduct initial discovery calls and understand client needs from both business and technical standpoint
  • Coordinate with technical teams (BA Designers Developers PMs) to scope client requirements
  • Prepare tailored proposals estimates and pitch decks in collaboration with internal teams
  • Actively maintain CRM data in HubSpot ensuring all touchpoints are tracked and followed up
  • Stay current on digital trends especially in WordPress Shopify and the broader web tech space
  • Represent the company with professionalism across client communication channels (calls emails video)
  • Participate in team meetings and share feedback market insights and growth ideas

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 36 years of experience in B2B tech software or digital agency sales
  • Proven ability to generate leads independently through research networking and outbound strategies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skillsmust be fluent articulate and persuasive
  • Strong grasp of web development concepts including CMS platforms like WordPress
  • Familiar with WordPress ecosystem (themes builders plugins WooCommerce ACF etc.) Shopifyunderstanding is a strong plus
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to quickly understand and translate client needs into actionable requirements
  • Organized self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Computer Science or a related field (mandatory)

Preferred Attributes
  • Prior experience in a digital/web agency setting
  • Experience working in a remote or international client environment
  • Prior agency experience or freelance background in web projects
  • Knowledge of tools like HubSpot Jira Canva Figma and Loom
