The Position: We are in search of an Engineer - Journeyman or Engineering Technician to support the P-8A Integrated Test Team.

Salary: The estimated salary range for this position is $95000 $145000 annually based upon an individuals level of experience skillset and education. The range that is given is an estimate and may vary based on contractual constraints. At AM Pierce & Associates it is our goal to provide equitable compensation to all employees.

The Location: Patuxent River MD

The Work Environment: On-Site.

Description:

  • Perform test engineering duties in developing writing reviewing and maintaining aircraft test plans and test reports. This may include developing testing towards specific aircraft/system performance requirements utilizing instrumentation and data collection schemes.
  • Orchestrating the collection of test data data transformation data analysis and reporting of results through briefings and reports.
  • conduct briefings and discussions towards testing preparation post flight data/information collection.
  • Recommend improvements in testing equipment and techniques.

Education & Experience:

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelors degree in an Engineering or related technical field.
    • Allowable substitution: A Masters degree in a related field may be substituted for two years of work experience.
  • Journeyman Level: At least three (3) years of experience performing similar tasks within field. Three years of NAVAIR/NAWCAD experience.
  • Desired Experience: Three years of experience assisting more senior positions performing functional duties of a similar position. A journeyman employee level person typically performs all functional duties independently.

Travel:

  • On some occasions the employee may be required to drive to offices or buildings near the work site.
