Provide individual and group counseling for all students on caseload and when referred or requested by an administrator. Observe and collect data on students in classes groups and unstructured transition times to develop conclusions and recommendations. Directly implement data-based interventions with students when needed particularly to model and train staff on how to implement with fidelity and consistency. Support team in developing implementing and evaluating crisis interventions Serve as a consultant and advocate in such issues as discipline attendance confidentiality mental health behavior management crisis management and child abuse/neglect. Participate in developing IEPs transition plans and other individualized plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary staff families and IEP teams. Effectively research and utilize community resources in addressing the needs of students and their families and make necessary referrals. Accurately complete forms/documentation including case notes progress notes progress report incident reports and student summaries. Provide consultation and professional development to parents teachers other school personnel and community agencies to enhance the learning and adjustment of students. Compile and present assessment data from multiple sources and synthesize findings to support Assessment Teams and IEP Teams in developing appropriate services for students in the least restrictive environment. Adheres to established federal state and local laws and regulations including standards of ethics and standards of professional practice in the delivery of school psychological services. Submit necessary medicaid billing documentation Perform other duties assigned by supervisor(s).
