TE TRANGA I THE ROLE:

As a Metadata Editor at Sky youll play a key role in shaping the way our customers experience TV shows and movies. Working in a fast-paced detail-driven environment youll be responsible for writing and editing synopses managing content metadata and ensuring engaging and accurate programme information is available across Sky platforms.

Were looking for two highly motivated and detail-obsessed team players to join us on a 6-month fixed-term basis. If you love TV and movies have a way with words and thrive in a role where accuracy matters this could be the perfect opportunity.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Writing and editing TV and movie synopses in line with distributor requirements.
• Enteringand managing data entry elements(e.g. cast crew genres) to ensure content is easy to discover on our platforms.
• Managing restrictions embargoes and legal requirements tied to distributor agreements.
• Supporting the wider Metadata team to ensure deadlines are met and workloads are shared.
• Navigating multiple systems and spreadsheets with speed and accuracy.

Youre someone who enjoys working with words and data thrives under pressure and takes real pride in the finer details. Youre equally comfortable writing a punchy synopsis as you are working through a detailed spreadsheet and you love being part of a supportive team.

• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confident communicator and strong team player.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets (Excel) and quick to learn new systems (CMS experience an advantage IBMS experience is a plus!).
• Ability to work independently manage deadlines and maintain focus under pressure.
• A genuine love of TV and movies.
