This Position reports to:

Quality Control Manager


Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will have the opportunity to inspect and test parts products and systems sourced from suppliers and internally produced. Each day you will ensure that only compliant items are released to the next stage and finally delivered to the customer. You will also showcase your expertise by employing standard test protocols and applying specifications to ensure quality.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Based on drawings and technical standards/order notes/customer specific requirements carry out inspection work determine OK/NOK record inspection results and issues
  • Notify the production line to promptly handle any defects found during inspection
  • Promptly escalate high-risk/batch issues to quality engineers and assist them in problem analysis and improvement
  • Report defects on the production line respond quickly conduct preliminary analysis and judgment and provide disposal opinions

Qualifications for the role
  • Technical secondary school diploma or above major in mechanical or electromechanical related fields or more than 3 years of relevant job experience;
  • Can understand mechanical structural drawings;
  • Familiarity with motor inspection standards is preferred;
  • Can use commonly used measuring tools (vernier caliper micrometer etc.);
  • Simple English recognition proficient in using computers and related office software;
  • Strong problem analysis ability and understanding of problem-solving tools such as 8D/5why;
  • Understand the ISO9000 quality management system.
