Job Description
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for the following;
- Conduct daily IG Line Mezzanine and Warehouse checks. Inspect finished IGs at the offload of the IG Lines and in the Warehouse for quality defects to prevent bad units from shipping to customers.
- Works with IG Team Leaders IG Supervisors and Shift Manager to identify issues and ensure that any bad units be rejected and remade.
Requirements
- Must have experience working in quality
- Attention to detail
- Able to work effectively with little to no direct supervision
- Ability to learn quality specifications
- Interpreted requirements and utilized careful judgment to determine compliance
- Communication and problem solving skills are required
- Basic computer skills
- Generate NCM Reports and assist in managing customer returns
- Bi-Lingual in Spanish and English
This opening is on our 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm) Monday through Friday although there may be certain times that overtime may be required.
