Saadi LabJOB DUTIES
Assist all investigators/researchers in the lab on their research efforts including animal care surgery assistance and data collection.
Participate in regular communication with the PIs via lab meetings and personal meetings.
Gather data and its analysis for the preparation of published papers as well as assistance on grant submissions and other documentation necessary for laboratory compliance.
Establish quality control and quality assurance policies and procedures including appropriate documentation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Associate degree in Biology Cell Biology Life Sciences Chemistry or a related field from an accredited institution. Experience may be substituted for education on a year for year basis.
Work Experience:
2 years of experience in a basic science laboratory
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelors degree BA or BS in Biology Cell Biology Life Sciences Chemistry Neuroscience or a related field from an accredited institution. Experience may be substituted for education on a year for year basis.
Work Experience:
2 years of experience in a basic science laboratory
2 years of experience with laboratory management.
2 years of experience in microscopy histology imaging and molecular biology
2 years of experience with laboratory animal models

At the University of Kansas Medical Center a reasonable estimate for the starting pay range will be the minimum to midpoint of the posted range taking into account the combination of factors listed above.
