Job Description
What youll be doing
- Lead and execute projects of all sizes creating schedules budgets installation plans and commissioning timelines.
- Identify and manage risks ensuring safety standards are met and potential issues are eliminated before they become problems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders such as operations maintenance procurement contractors engineering firms regulatory agencies and municipalities.
- Drive multidisciplinary projects with strong business sense including large-scale greenfield builds building construction equipment installation commissioning acceptance testing and project closeout.
- Track progress & report results to the Engineering Manager adjusting scope schedule or budget as needed.
- Oversee CAPEX projects across Atlantics network ensuring technical quality cost control scheduling and safety.
- Resolve technical issues during design engineering installation and commissioning whether its a single machine a full production line or an entire facility.
- Prepare detailed reports for management and other stakeholders.
- Confer with project teams to provide technical advice and problem-solving support.
- Oversee technical content of procedures and programming for training purposes.
What were looking for
- 23 years of experience delivering projects on time and on budget.
- Educational background preferred in Mechanical / Industrial / Electrical Engineering
- Proven ability to lead and manage small to large-scale projects.
- Strong design planning organization and communication skills.
- Hands-on problem solver with a track record of critical thinking and sound judgment.
- High sense of ownership able to take projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD MS Project or equivalent project management tools.
- Willingness to travel and work independently on-site when required.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of OHSA building codes electrical and environmental regulations and experience working with regulatory agencies.
- Experience in the corrugated or packaging industry.
