Job Description

What youll be doing

  • Lead and execute projects of all sizes creating schedules budgets installation plans and commissioning timelines.
  • Identify and manage risks ensuring safety standards are met and potential issues are eliminated before they become problems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders such as operations maintenance procurement contractors engineering firms regulatory agencies and municipalities.
  • Drive multidisciplinary projects with strong business sense including large-scale greenfield builds building construction equipment installation commissioning acceptance testing and project closeout.
  • Track progress & report results to the Engineering Manager adjusting scope schedule or budget as needed.
  • Oversee CAPEX projects across Atlantics network ensuring technical quality cost control scheduling and safety.
  • Resolve technical issues during design engineering installation and commissioning whether its a single machine a full production line or an entire facility.
  • Prepare detailed reports for management and other stakeholders.
  • Confer with project teams to provide technical advice and problem-solving support.
  • Oversee technical content of procedures and programming for training purposes.

What were looking for

  • 23 years of experience delivering projects on time and on budget.
  • Educational background preferred in Mechanical / Industrial / Electrical Engineering
  • Proven ability to lead and manage small to large-scale projects.
  • Strong design planning organization and communication skills.
  • Hands-on problem solver with a track record of critical thinking and sound judgment.
  • High sense of ownership able to take projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD MS Project or equivalent project management tools.
  • Willingness to travel and work independently on-site when required.

          Nice to have

          • Knowledge of OHSA building codes electrical and environmental regulations and experience working with regulatory agencies.
          • Experience in the corrugated or packaging industry.
