Job Summary

Buffalo Trail Public Schools is seeking a temporary mail courier (van driver) to deliver mail throughout the division. Reporting to the Secretary-Treasurer the courier will be responsible for the delivery collection and sorting of mail for all 27 locations within the division.

Position Details:

Start Date:As soon as possible
Tentative End Date:October 31 2025 or the return of the incumbent
Location:Central Services
Hours: Tuesday Wednesday Thursday; 7 hours per day
Contract Type:Temporary Part- time
A division vehicle will be provided

Qualifications & Experience:

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

Valid Class 5 drivers license
A safe driving record for at least 3 years (drivers abstract required)
The physical ability to lift 22.7 kg (50lb) and carry items weighing up to 15.9 kg (35 lb)
The ability to work in all types of weather
