Due to company growth an exciting opportunity has become available for a committed proactive and qualified Wood Machinist to join their team.

About You:
- Trade Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience in Wood Machining
- Previous experience working with CNC Routers
- Previous experience working with 4 or 5 Sided Moulders
- Experience with Band saws and edge-matching machines
- Ability to Tool change and Machine set-up
- Be Physically fit
- Motivated reliable and hard working
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Sets up woodworking machines and wood stock for correct cutting planning turning shaping and sanding
- Operates machines to cut plane turn shape and sand work pieces
- Removes old finishes by stripping with steel wool and glasspaper and by applying solvents and paint strippers and removing softened finishes by scraping
- Applying varnish shellac lacquer stains and paint to surfaces and polishing and waxing finished surfaces
- Fitting and fastening frame pieces
- Mounting backing materials and subjects for framing
Work hours: Monday to Friday 7:00am - 3:20pm - Overtime available

To be eligible for an Australian work permit you must have completed a successful Skill Assessment or willing to undertake Skill Assessment and English IELTS.
