Fortress Wall Installer - Charlotte, NC

Work Flexibility: Field-based

Position summary:

As an Installer for Fortress Modular Walls you will be responsible for the on-site installation of modular wall systems in healthcare environments. This position requires a strong attention to detail adherence to safety protocols and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Installers must be able to read and interpret construction drawings handle physical labor utilize their carpentry skills and maintain a professional demeanor while representing the Fortress brand on job sites.

Essential duties & responsibilities:

• Install Fortress modular wall systems according to project specifications and installation manuals.
• Read and interpret shop drawings blueprints and installation plans.
• Safely use hand and power tools to assemble wall panels doors frames and accessories.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed including daily reports and field changes.
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors project managers general contractors and other trades.
• Ensure a clean organized and safe worksite in compliance with company and OSHA safety standards.
• Troubleshoot installation challenges and assist in on-site problem-solving.
• Assist with loading unloading and inventorying materials as needed.
• Travel to various project locations including overnight stays when necessary.

Education & special trainings:

• High school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications & experience:

• 2 years of construction carpentry or modular installation experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of construction tools and techniques.
• Valid drivers license with clean driving record; ability to travel as needed.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification a plus (or willingness to obtain).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated reliable and team-oriented.

Physical & mental requirements:

• Ability to lift 50 pounds work on ladders and perform physical labor in varying site conditions.
