Introduction:
We are looking for a Benefits specialist to support activities to review implement and administer benefits policies and programs ensuring alignment with company objectives budgetary goals and related legislation.
Responsibilities:
- Participates in benefit surveys and review market data to determine the companys competitive position in employee benefits and propose enhancements as needed.
- Reviews and implements enhancements to employee benefits programs to ensure that programs are current competitive and in compliance with legal requirements.
- Manages relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Works and collaborates on other projects and/or assignments as needed
Required Qualifications:
- At least a Bachelors degree in Human Resources. Specialization in Benefits would be an advantage.
- 3 - 5 years of related experience in Human Resources preferably in Benefits.
- Builds productive internal and external working relationships.
- Exchanges detailed and complex information with internal colleagues and others outside of the company.
- Networks globally within own function and with other functions as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Meticulous with good problem solving skills where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
- Ability to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with ability to network with internal & external personnel in area of expertise.
- Ability to adapt well in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
