Optimal on behalf of its client a well-established firm in the marine industry is looking for a Marine Bunkers & Lubricants Consultant based in Athens.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary consultant for bunker and lubricant requests managing client needs in both the Greek and international markets
- Identify and engage new customers build a robust portfolio and expand companys global footprint
- Lead negotiations and perform detailed analyses of customer accounts managing risk and ensuring mutually successful outcomes
- Immerse yourself in the fast-paced world of marine trade developing deep industry knowledge and becoming a trusted advisor to your clients
Qualifications:
- Degree in Maritime Studies or Business Administration or a proven track record of success in a sales role
- Customer-centric and business-driven mindset fueled by a genuine enthusiasm for sales
- Exceptional negotiating and sharp analytical skills
- Collaborative spirit and a commitment to teamwork
- Fluency in English language
- Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook Excel Word)
- Previous experience in the marine bunkers/lubricants industry is considered a strong advantage
