Our client is looking for a talented Classic Car Mechanic who is passionate about heritage vehicles and enjoys the challenge of varied hands-on work. Youll be involved in a broad range of mechanical operations and will have the freedom to help shape how the workshop evolves.
The Role
Youll carry out diverse mechanical tasks spanning servicing repair fault-finding and light restoration.
This position suits someone who enjoys problem-solving and takes real pride in craftsmanship there is no requirement for panel or paint work.
Key Responsibilities
Mechanical repair service and restoration of classic vehicles
Engine strip rebuild tuning and diagnosis
Drivetrain and suspension restoration upgrade and set-up
Carburettor and ignition tuning
Sympathetic electrical repair and fault-finding
Routine servicing and road testing
Working collaboratively within a small skilled team
Ideal Candidate
Experienced working on classic vintage or pre-OBD vehicles
Strong diagnostic capability across mechanical and electrical systems
Confident working to high craftsmanship standards
passionate about automotive history and traditional engineering
Proactive hands-on and adaptable within a developing workshop
Good communication skills and comfortable working in a customer-focused environment
