We are seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team.
This position includes a $5000 sign-on bonus.
The primary work location is in Victorville CA with oversight of a second location in Yucca Valley CA.
What you bring to SBHG:
BBS licensed MFT LCSW LPCC PsyD or PhD
2 years-post licensure experience with ability to provide Clinical Supervision to registered interns/associates and/or practicum students in Behavioral Services or Psychology related fields preferred
Masters degree in family/child counseling development or psychology social services or professional counseling or related social science field.
Four (4) years direct service experience with the mentally ill children adolescents and/or adults depending on setting preferred.
BLS CPR/First Aid
Two (2) years supervisory experience in a health care setting preferred.
Must possess a valid CA drivers license and maintain a driving record that meets the company driver eligibility policy
How you will make a difference:
Directing and oversight of the staff who provide mental health and support services to clients and their families. Clinical Director may have their own caseload in addition to oversight responsibilities. The Clinical Director acts as liaison with external agencies and functions on teams with other clinical and support staff. This position involves planning implementation monitoring and revision of the clinical treatment program. The Clinical Director represents the agency to county agencies and the community. The Clinical Director may meet with clients provide direct care and treatment and may be involved in the client grievance process. The Clinical Director is responsible for overall facility/program management.
This position has the responsibility of and provides direct clinical supervision of BBS licensed staff ensuring services are in accordance with BBS standards and signs off on BBS hours.
Division/Program Overview:
The Valley Star Crisis Walk-In Center (CWIC) is a voluntary 24/7 facility that provides rapid mental health assessments and crisis intervention in an unlocked setting. Open to all age groups children adolescents adults and older adults the center is designed to support anyone experiencing an immediate mental health crisis with a stay of up to 23 hours.
