SCHOOL OF CHINESE MEDICINE
TEACHING AND RESEARCH DIVISION
Research Assistant ()
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on the role of metabolites such as bile acids in metabolic diseases;
- Investigate the impact of bile acid signaling pathways on endothelial cells T cells and monito changes in animal serum in vivo; and
- Provide support for writing research grants and securing funding for science.
Requirements:
- Candidates must hold a masters degree in Immunology or related fields;
- Experience in flow cytometry animal handling and knowledge of signaling pathways related to metabolism (in vivo);
- Proficient in grant / manuscript writing with a record of successful funding applications will be an advantage; and
- Training will be provided for the RA position with an opportunity to progress towards a PhD degree by the end of the year.

Applicants with less qualifications and experience may be considered for appointment at a lower rank. Fresh graduates may be considered as a Junior Research Assistant.
Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
