We are currently looking for an ADC Engineer to join our systems organization. You love to work with internal and external customers to execute projects and resolve issues. You are a believer in the dev-ops model of service engineering and you are excited to run operations in an environment where developers dont toss problems over the wall. AWS Cryptography and Identity are building and delivering the next generation of cloud computing security. We are innovating new ways of building massively scalable distributed security systems involving identity management federation web services security and much more. We enable our customers to control some of the most sensitive secrets on the Internet.
In this role you will join a team of highly talented engineers operating Cryptography and Identity systems. This is a great opportunity to have direct impact to some of the largest-scaled systems in the world and work with some of the smartest people in the industry while having a huge impact. A successful systems engineer should be focused on troubleshooting complex system operations not just on a server level but enterprise wide. You should also have a solid foundation in multiple operating systems networking and general knowledge of cloud services. You will work with Amazons largest and most demanding customers to address specific needs across a full suite of services. You will dive deep into technical issues and work diligently to improve the customer experience.

his position requires that the candidate selected must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph. The position further requires the candidate to opt into a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.

- 1 years of systems administration experience (Linux/Windows).
- Experience working with scripting languages.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- In lieu of above relevant work experience degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Current active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
- 1 years experience with cloud computing technologies.
- 1 years of networking experience.
- 1 years of experience with support procedures and methodologies for production computing environments.
- Experience automating routine tasks.
- Experience with performance and log analysis.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $81900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $152000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
