Are You a Fit
To be successful in this role you need:
- 5 years backend development experience preferably in distributed/microservices
environments. - Strong expertise in TypeScript and (mandatory).
- Solid understanding of PostgreSQL.
- Hands-on experience using LangChain to interface with LLMs (mandatory).
- Proven experience with LLM prompt engineering and fine-tuning (mandatory).
- Basic to intermediate experience in Python (for AI/ML tasks).
- Familiarity with Git Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with at least one cloud provider (Google Cloud preferred AWS
acceptable). - Understanding of microservice architectures.
- Ability to write and maintain comprehensive tests for backend systems.
- Comfortable with asynchronous collaboration and working across time zones.
- Professional and technical communication skills in English.
Nice to have Skills
- Experience with Terraform.
- Familiarity with CircleCI.
- PHP knowledge is a plus (not mandatory).
- Prior experience integrating third-party AI vendors.
- Background in media publishing or newsroom technology is advantageous.
