As a Manual QA Specialist you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through thorough manual testing and defect identification. Your meticulous approach to testing will help us to deliver high-quality solutions. What youll do
Perform thorough manual testing on software applications including functional regression integration and system testing to ensure the highest level of quality and performance.
Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and design specifications.
Execute test cases meticulously and accurately ensuring maximum test coverage and identification of potential defects.
Identify isolate and document software defects in a clear and concise manner using bug tracking tools while working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including developers product managers
and business analysts to understand project requirements and align the testing process
with project goals.
Participate actively in design and requirement review meetings providing valuable feedback
on potential usability issues and functional gaps.
Continuously improve testing processes methodologies and techniques to enhance
efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices emerging technologies and advancements in
software testing methodologies.
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of testing documentation including test plans
test scripts and test reports.
What youll need
The following experience is a requirement:
Proven track record of success as a Manual QA Specialist or in a similar role with 4 years of experience preferably in a software development environment.
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and proficient knowledge of software testing methodologies.
Solid experience with manual testing techniques test case design and defect management.
Proficiency in using bug tracking tools (e.g. Trello Jira Bugzilla) and test management tools
(e.g. TestRail Qase).
Ability to create comprehensive test plans test cases and test scripts based on project
requirements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to collaborate
effectively with cross-functional teams.
Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and take ownership of
tasks.
Flexibility to adapt to changing project priorities and timelines.
Software testing certifications are a plus.
Excellent spoken and written English.
