Make an Impact by

  • Plan submarine cable routing in consultation with consortium members operations staff and relevant local authorities in Singapore and international waters.
  • Stay updated on permitting regulations and ensure compliance to support optimal cable route planning considering cost and operational requirements.
  • Review and approve route survey results.
  • Resolve marine incidents and approve recommendations from onboard ship representatives.
  • Attend planning and coordination meetings with authorities (e.g. MPA IMDA) and contractors to address marine cable routing issues.
  • Serve as a member of the Marine Working Group during the marine installation phase.
  • Maintain and update submarine cable as-built and as-repaired route information in the GIS database.

Skills for Success

  • Bachelors degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering or a related field
  • 57 years of relevant work experience
  • Project management skills and experience
  • Familiarity with GIS tools and marine survey data interpretation
  • Experience working with regulatory authorities and multi-party project coordination.
