Were looking for a hands-on detail-oriented leader to oversee the daily operations of our Accounts Payable function at our Grand Rapids headquarters. This is an on-site role where your leadership will directly impact financial accuracy vendor relationships and operational efficiency.


Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the AP team in processing invoices and managing vendor accounts
  • Prepare forecasts and analyze financial trends to support strategic decisions
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate across departments to streamline processes and resolve issues
  • Report regularly to senior leadership with insights and recommendations
  • Oversee Accounts Payable Operations: Supervise the AP team ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices vendor payments and adherence to internal controls.
  • Ensure Compliance and Accuracy: Maintain compliance with financial policies procedures and regulatory requirements while ensuring data integrity across systems.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with departments such as procurement operations and finance to resolve issues improve processes and support business initiatives.
  • Support Month-End and Audit Activities: Assist with month-end close reconciliations and preparation of audit documentation related to both financial analysis and accounts payable.
Requirements

Education:


  • Associates degree or 2 Years Professional Experience Finance Accounting Business Administration or related field.


Experience:

  • 2 Years Experience of supervisory or team leadership experience ideally within accounts payable or a related function.
  • Strong background in financial reporting budgeting and variance analysis
  • Experience with ERP systems and AP automation tools

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit stand write and operate a computer keyboard standard office equipment and telephone. The employee regularly communicates with customers. The employee is frequently required to move about and reach for items. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
