The opportunity
Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities employs over 1900 staff and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products Solutions and Services. Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications including power generation transmission and distribution oil chemical and gas industrial manufacturing semiconductor and data centers as well as building and transportation sectors.

How youll make an impact
1. You will be the part of an international design and engineering team heavily specialized in traction transformer design.
2. You will responsible for mechanical development traction transformer order and tender designs in compliance with the market and sales strategy to meet the market needs.
3. You will be coordinating his design activities within a worldwide factories network.
4. You will influence specification at the tender and pre-tender stage through conceptual discussions.
5. You can extend your participation in internal design concept reviews: Carry out general and detailed design studies and hand over technical documentation meeting the requested quality level (specifications drawings) within a defined timeline.
6. You will lead the technical communications/discussions/decisions with the customers covering the whole business chain of value where technical skills are keys (tendering sales project execution after sales services)
7. You will support the local & global organization on S&M SCM quality activities cost savings.
8. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.

Your background
1. You hold a bachelors or masters degree of mechanical engineering.
2. Up to 2 years experience working in mechanical design for oil immersed transformers.
3. Understanding of oil immersed transformer mechanical design strong team working abilities with a worldwide multi-cultural technical team.
4. Knowledge on Computer Aided Design 3D Modeling ProE application preferred.
5. Experience in mechanical design for heavy industry products and in technical project management and in FMEA is a plus.
6. Proficient in Microsoft office and associated tools.
7. Fluent in English Language in both spoken and written is a must.
