Job Description
This Position is Open Until Filled
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Program Manager- the person selected for this position will be employed on call for the purpose/s of screening all new ELL students and assessingand administering the WIDA language assessment to all ELL students spend time working one on one with students and parents translating and working on educational goals and development.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of language and/or culture of migrant groups represented in the program; preferred fluency in Spanish. Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and with little supervision with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to develop liaison role between the home school and community
- Ability to conduct personal interviews in various environments.
- Ability to take and maintain thorough detailed records.
- Ability to establish good working relationships with agricultural employers.
- Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle.
- Able to complete WIDA online training.
- At least 21 years of age
- Fingerprinting/Criminal History Record Check
