Job Summary
The Project Rebound Dare 2 Dream Juvenile Justice Program Youth Mentor plays a pivotal role in shaping the lives of justice-involved youth by providing guidance support and encouragement to help them envision and work towards a brighter future. This position is part of the broader Project Rebound initiative at CSU Fullerton which is dedicated to supporting formerly incarcerated individuals through educational and community-based programs. The Dare 2 Dream program targets youth at risk of or who have been involved with the juvenile justice system helping them develop life skills educational aspirations and a sense of personal agency.
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to learn and perform assigned work; follow oral instructions; work cooperatively with faculty staff and other students; communicate effectively with all levels; and read and write English at a level appropriate to the position.
