Job Description
Elementary School EC Teacher for Nash County Public Schools in Nash County NC.
An Elementary School EC Teacher provides specialized individual and small group instruction to students with disabilities while monitoring students progress toward goal acquisition.
They assess transition skills prepare students for positive post-secondary outcomes and support general education teachers as they instruct students with disabilities in the general education environment.
They develop and implement Individualized Education Plans; meet with parents educational teams and outside agencies to develop educational service plans for students; and coordinate services across a multidisciplinary team to improve educational outcomes for students with disabilities.
The employee may be assigned to unanticipated worksites throughout the Nash County Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA).
There will be no travel between worksites there will simply be unanticipated opportunities for worksite reassignment.
Bachelors Degree or Higher or Foreign Equivalent in Education or a related field.
Ability to obtain a NC Teaching License.
Multiple positions available.
Must have authorization to work in the U.S.
