Job Description
Middle School EC Teacher for Nash County Public Schools in Nash County NC.
A Middle School EC Teacher provides specialized individual and small group instruction to studentswith disabilities while monitoring students progress toward goal acquisition.
They assess transition skills prepare students for positive post-secondary outcomes and support general education teachers as they instruct students with disabilities in the general education environment.
They develop and implement Individualized Education Plans; meet with parents educational teams and outside agencies to develop educational service plans for students; and coordinate services across a multidisciplinary team to improve educational outcomes for students with disabilities.
Bachelors Degree or Higher or Foreign Equivalent in Education or a related field.
Ability to obtain a NC Teaching License.
Multiple positions available.
