Inpatient Rehabilitation Center

Work location:Texas Health Dallas 8200 Walnut Hill Lane. Dallas TX 75231
Work hours: Part-Time - Weekends
- 24 hours per week Friday Saturday & Sunday.

Patient-focused 44 bed inpatient rehabilitation unit with a very diverse and progressive team focused on patient outcomes individualized exceptional patient care and progression of our disciplines.
- Bachelors Degree Completion of a Physical Therapy program Required
- 1 year experience adult acute or inpatient rehabilitation strongly preferred
- PT - Physical Therapist Texas Physical Therapy License Upon Hire Required
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly) Required
- Uses therapeutic treatment techniques appropriate to patient age and desire for treatment
- Performs treatment procedures that are within the scope of the professional license
- Performs/delegates technical procedures appropriately and safely
- Utilizes a variety of treatment techniques to achieve goals if necessary
- Determines patient response to treatment and evaluates progress (reassessment)
- Educates patient and family through instruction demonstration and/or appropriate handouts in treatment plan safety issues home programs/self-management and assistive equipment
