Job Description
Leasing Specialist Hampton Point (Silver Spring MD)
WPM Real Estate Management is looking for a friendly energetic and customer-focused professional to join our leasing team at Hampton Point in Silver Spring MD.
Our Leasing Specialists play a key role in turning apartments into homes helping residents find the right fit addressing their needs planning community events and delivering exceptional service every day.
Schedule: MondayFriday some Saturdays
$20/hour (based on experience) commission & bonus opportunities
What Youll Do
Track and record all phone and walk-in traffic; prepare weekly traffic reports
Guide applicants through the leasing process and collect documentation
Manage vacancies: update reports daily complete checklists and prepare apartments for move-in (including light cleaning)
Support resident retention by planning and participating in community events
Conduct competitor property visits quarterly to stay up to date on specials
Assist management with resident relations and day-to-day property operations
Schedule tours coordinate with vendors and communicate building procedures
Help market the community through outreach and promotional events
Provide administrative support: prepare forms correspondence invoices and reports
Maintain accurate files for residents vendors insurance certificates and purchase orders
Support the office with phone coverage and general operational needs
Take on other duties as needed to keep the property running smoothly
What Were Looking For
A professional positive image in appearance and demeanor
Strong customer service and sales skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence
Comfortable using PC software and learning new systems (Entrata experience a plus)
Willingness to work weekends and occasional evenings
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
Prior leasing sales or customer service experience preferred
Entrata experience a plus
