We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented QA Supervisorto join our team in Makati City.
The QA Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Quality Assurance team to ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements. This role plays a key part in maintaining and improving the organizations Quality Management System (QMS) with a strong preference for candidates certified as ISO Lead Auditors or with experience as QMS Officers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise QA staff and coordinate quality assurance activities across departments.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Lead internal audits and support external audits including preparation execution and follow-up.
- Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) including document control CAPA and risk management.
- Develop and implement quality policies procedures and work instructions.
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics and performance indicators.
- Investigate quality issues and customer complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on quality standards and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure product and process quality through inspections testing and validation activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 35 years of experience in quality assurance preferably in a supervisory role.
- Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or equivalent (preferred).
- Experience in managing or implementing a Quality Management System (QMS).
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards regulatory compliance and audit processes.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software/tools
