OCC Logistics Junior Manager

Based inBudapest

Position in the Organization

The OCC Logistics Junior Manager reports directly to the Group Logistics Manager and oversees the OCC Logistics Supervisors.

Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight & Capacity Planning

  • Oversee daily OCC Logistics operations including crew hoteling transportation and disruption management.
  • Balance day/night coverage rest requirements skill allocations and holiday requests to optimize operational continuity.
  • Support CMC exercises and decision-making during operational disruptions
  • Making sure standardized procedures are followed by OCCL team and trackers are up to date with all necessary requirements.
  • Making sure communication with crew members is maintained and all inquiries addressed from OCCL team.
  • Actively participating in developing and implementing the most cost-efficient practices and timely decisions in OCC Logistics.

Process Definition & Reporting

  • Define track and report on key performance indicators for Supervisors and Agents (e.g. on-time task completion cost per case roster compliance).
  • Monitor and enforce partner-provided service-level agreements escalating deviations and driving corrective action.
  • Produce weekly and monthly dashboards for the Logistics Manager highlighting trends flags and improvement opportunities including team KPI and partner SLA performance.
  • Actively participating in testing and developing applications used in Crew Logistics.
  • Identify operational pain points and drive continuousimprovement projects (e.g. reducing handover errors automating routine tasks).
  • Document and maintain all OCC Logistics processes policies and standard operating procedures ensuring audit readiness.

Team Leadership & Cross functional cooperation

  • Develop publish and maintain the teams monthly shift roster in accordance with company and internal team policies
  • Conduct regular 1:1s performance reviews and skills-gap analyses; implement targeted development plans.
  • lead and maintain supervisors monthly meetings.
  • Liaise with Operation Control (Duty Managers Crew Control) Short Term Planning Training Planning Mid-term and onboarding Logistics teams across all AOCs.

Authorities of the Function

  • Approve and update OCC Logistics policies procedures and SOPs.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to OCC Logistics Supervisors and Agents.
  • Make day-to-day operational and cost-allocation decisions within delegated limits.

Skills and competencies:

  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint) and reporting tools

Requirements:

  • Finalized bachelors degree preferably Business Engineering or related field
  • 23 years in crew logistics OCC Logistics or planning.
  • Demonstrated experience in people management and coaching
