About the Role

This individual will maintain strong relations with business leaders hiringmanagers HR business partners external contacts and candidates. You willdevelop and execute a recruiting plan focused on identifying A Player Talentsleveraging traditional recruiting strategies while also developing new and creativesourcing ideas. You will act as an Advisor of Talent for business/organizationalchallenges while driving innovative recruitment solutions that support the growth ofHARMAN.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as a key recruitersupporting multiple clientgroups.
  • Advise the business on talent availability in the market and create sourcingstrategies based on external marketdata
  • Pro-actively identify qualified candidates through multiple sources includingemployee referrals social networking sites alumni internal transfersnetworkingetc.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop andimplement plans for sourcing and recruiting strategies
  • Provide regular updates to hiring managers HR business partners TalentAcquisition leaders and other stakeholders as appropriate on pipelinedevelopment and progress ofcandidates
  • Managecandidates through the entire interview and hiring process from assessingcandidate qualifications to negotiating offers and managing pre-employmentrequirements andonboarding
  • Creates clear and concise oral and writtencommunications
  • Develops compelling and inspirational messages to tell the HARMAN talentstory
  • Master the use of recruiting tools and technologies (Avature Workday LinkedInRecruiter etc.) to remain at the forefront of talentacquisition
  • Integrate HARMANs brand strategy into all recruitmentactivities
  • Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview documentation and data in applicant tracking system (Avature)
  • Proactively escalate complex recruitment challenges as needed
  • Share competitive market intelligence with hiring managers and recruiting team
  • Recommend and implement improvements to recruitment processes
  • Participate in global and regional recruiting projects as needed

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5 yearsfull lifecycle recruiting experience; Engineering recruitingexperience preferred
  • Strong customer focus and effective use of consultative approach with internal clients
  • Experience managing the recruitment process via an Applicant Tracking System
  • Core knowledge of recruitment/hiring laws and practices
  • Ability to quickly gain in-depth knowledge of HARMANs recruitment policies process andprotocols

Bonus Points if You Have

  • Recruiting experience within Technical Service industries
  • Ability and flexibility to recruit across a variety of functional roles
  • Understanding of Workday and Avature
  • Workday ATS knowledge and experience
