What will you do
We are looking for a Sr. Merchandising Manager for Womens Icon Footwear we are looking for a trailblazing product leader who can redefine whats possible for Vans both physically & digitally. This person will be responsible for delivering innovative products that not only drive business growth but also shape culture. They will orchestrate bold product strategies that explore new forms constructions and categories diversifying our line while staying true to the spirit of Vans.
Lets break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.
Drive the execution of the seasonal product strategy ensuring alignment with global and regional business objectives
Act as a key consumer advocate leveraging insights and market trends to refine assortments and influence product decisions.
Manage seasonal line plans ensuring a balanced assortment that meets financial targets while maintaining brand consistency.
Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Design Development Planning Marketing and Sales) to drive product creation commercialization and go-to-market strategies.
Analyze business performance identifying opportunities for optimization and recommending in-season actions to drive sales and margin.
Mentor and guide merchandising teams fostering skill development and ensuring smooth execution of merchandising deliverables.
What do you need to succeed
We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role there are foundation skills youll need to succeed and excel. Additionally while formal education in a related field is great to have we are most interested in your 8 years of experience and professional achievements.
The foundation skills you will need in this position are:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in merchandising in the footwear industry.
Strong understanding of market trends and consumer insights.
Proven ability to manage and execute seasonal line plans.
Excellent analytical skills with a focus on business performance optimization.
Strong leadership and team mentorship capabilities.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
There are also a few skills that are not required but preferred.
Bachelors degree in Merchandising Business Marketing or related field.

$99360.00 USD - $124200.00 USD annuallyIncentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan sales incentive orcommissionpotential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
