Position Overview:
As an Accounting Specialist focusing on Accounts Payable and Bookkeeping you will own the accounts payable process and be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. Your role will also involve performing recurring journal entries and supporting our financial operations. The ideal candidate is self-sufficient a self-starter and has a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the entire accounts payable process ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
  • Manage vendor relationships and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable ledgers.
  • Perform recurring journal entries and assist with general bookkeeping tasks.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities and provide necessary documentation and reports.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Monitor accounts payable for compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Continuously seek process improvements and contribute to team goals.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in accounts payable and bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency in accounting software; experience with NetSuite is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
