As a Camera Metrology Technologist you will - -Cooperate with cross functional & multidisciplinary teams to specify camera FMEA risk develop and deploy calibration and performance validations stations to reduce camera product risks throughout the NPI cycle-Work with equipment vendors to design the perfect equipment from scratch for calibrating and verifying the performance of Apple products-Specify and acquire instruments components and tools for use in an NPI environment-Run simulations or experiments to make data driven decisions and present results to senior management-Design develop debug and optimize algorithms to meet with accuracy and precision requirement for camera calibration and performance verification-Generate reports that analyze large amounts of NPI camera performance data and present at both working level and executive level meetings-Up to 10% domestic and international traveling
MS in CS/EE/Imaging/Physics/Optics/AppliedMath
Knowledge in one of the following: camera calibration lidar or other depth sensor computer vision image processing AI/ML optical instrumentation
Sufficient programming experience in at least one of Matlab/Python/C languages
Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills with native fluency in Mandarin-Chinese and proficiency in English.
Ability to work well in a collaborative highly multi-functional and fast pace environment.
PhD in CS/EE/Imaging/Physics/Optics/AppliedMath
Deep knowledge in two or more of the following: camera calibration lidar or other depth sensor computer vision image processing AI/ML optical instrumentation
Proficient algorithm and coding skills in either one of Matlab/Python/C languages
Metrology system development experience
Experience of developing AI data mining or machine learning driven system/projects
