Job Description

Salary Information

Compensation plans are based on a multi-step progression system. The pay range reflects the entry level and maximum salary potential in the assigned pay grade.

**A starting salary may be negotiated and will be commensurate with education training and experience in alignment with pay administration policies and MCCP Board Rules & Regulations**

Nature of Work

Thefundamental reason that this position exists is to provide customer service to guests visiting the Mann Wildlife Learning Museum at the Montgomery Zoo. Major work responsibilities include assistingvisitors in the wildlife museum providing retail customer service in the giftshop and performing miscellaneous duties related to housekeeping andsecurity. Supervision is received fromthe Wildlife Museum Attendant II.

Minimum Qualifications

Highschool diploma or G.E.D. and six (6) months of public contact work experiencethat includes handling financial transactions.

NOTE:Qualifying educationtraining and experience that provide the requisite knowledge skills andabilities to perform the job will be considered.

Special Requirements

Work will include nights weekends and holidays.

Kind of Examination
