Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Backend Software Engineer with expertise in Java and Spring Boot to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining backend services and APIs that power our applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality scalable and robust solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of backend technologies cloud infrastructure and best practices in software development.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead an agile squad to deliver sprint commitments with a high quality
- Design application components that are reusable efficient and easy to maintain
- Refactor existing code to improve reliabilityperformance and maintainability.
- Research evaluate and prototype emergingtechnologies
- Mentor Intermediate and Associate Software Engineers
- Collaborate closely with Product Ownersand other stakeholders in an Agile environment
- Work closely with othersquadsto drive innovative solutions to meet business needs
- Work closely with software engineers to establish best practices for development testing and delivery
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of software engineering experience
- Experience in Backend technologies such as Java Springboot JavaScript Node and Java
- Experience in working with RDMBSand NoSQL Database
- Experience in Framework and API / Service Layer such asSpring Boot(Rest Template Feign Client Zuul Sleuth/Zipkin Hystrix andMaven)SwaggerNode/Express.
- Experiencein Monitoring / Logging tools such asNew Relic Devo and Kibana.
- Experience in Test Driven Technologies such asJasmine JEST Mocha Junit Mockito (Java)
- Experience in Cloud PaaS and microservice architectures inAKS
- Experience in Agile scrum methodologies and experience of working in anAgileteam
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experienced in grasping and explaining high levelsolution architecture
- Knowledge inSonarQube FortifyandWebInspect
- Experience in CSS Best practices and Framework likeMaterial UI BEM SMACSS CSS Flexbox CSS Grid
