About the Role
Were looking for a Senior Software Engineer to take a hands-on leadership role within our development team. Youll be someone who can guide engineering decisions foster growth and deliver impactful features that push our product forward.
Youll work closely with our highly skilled dev team to lead end-to-end delivery of complex systems by contributing high quality code mentoring others setting best practices and ensuring quality and performance at scale.

What youll do
- Engineering Leadership: Contribute high-quality code while leading and mentoring a squad of developers setting the tone for engineering excellence and fostering a collaborative high-performance culture. Provide coaching and support for career development.
- Team Mentorship & Capability Building: Act as a mentor and technical leader within the dev team. Foster a culture of continuous learning and shared ownership helping the team grow both technically and professionally.
- Technical Vision & Standards: Collaborate with senior leadership to define the architecture and long-term technical roadmap across the platform. Establish and uphold high standards for model development and data integrity
- Cross-functional Influence: Partner with the Head of Product and stakeholders across engineering analytics and operations to align technical delivery with business needs. Be a key voice in shaping the future of our product
- Quality Leadership: Lead by example in code reviews testing and validation practices. Ensure delivery is not just fast but also dependable and aligned with our quality standards.
- AI Strategy & Delivery: Lead the development and integration of AI capabilities across the platform designing scalable production-ready solutions that drive real business value. Rapidly prototype and validate ideas using insights to shape both technical execution and product direction. Champion the strategic growth of AI in the product ensuring alignment with company goals and long-term vision.
- Strategic Research & Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends in software engineering and AI. Evaluate and recommend new tools frameworks and methodologies - driving innovation that supports scalable growth and operational excellence.
What youll bring
- Leadership in Deployment: Hands-on experience managing and deploying on cloud platforms like Azure or AWS with a focus on setting standards and guiding best practices for the team.
- End-to-End Ownership: Experience across the full software stack and a track record of delivering end-to-end solutions that drive product impact and team alignment.
- System Integration Leadership: Strong capability in integrating new features into existing tech frameworks with experience leading technical discussions and influencing architectural decisions.
- Backend & Infrastructure Leadership: Proficiency in building scalable APIs and microservices (e.g. Python) and the ability to mentor others in backend best practices and architectural patterns.
- Full-Stack Technical Guidance: Deep understanding of server-side architecture APIs databases (e.g. Azure SQL PostgreSQL) and data modelling. Strong front-end development skills. Experience guiding team members across technical disciplines.
- Agile Leadership: Comfortable working in Agile environments actively contributing to planning estimation and delivery and leading by example in sprint execution and accountability.
- Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Strong problem-solving skills and confidence in making sound architectural and technical decisions.
- Team Growth & Communication: Excellent communication and mentoring skills with a focus on upskilling the team fostering a culture of innovation and creating clarity across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- (Preferable) AI Strategy & Delivery: Experience leading the integration of AI solutions into production systems preferable.
