Job Description
Position: Lead Electrical Engineer Low Voltage & Pharma Projects
Responsibilities:
- Act as the Lead Engineer for Low Voltage (LV) electrical systems on pharmaceutical projects overseeing design delivery quality control and project progress.
- Supervise and mentor a small team of engineers and designers to ensure project milestones and technical standards are met.
- Develop and define scopes of work for LV electrical systems based on client requirements and preliminary discussions.
- Conduct engineering assessments feasibility studies and conceptual designs for new systems; analyze and improve performance of existing installations.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and multidisciplinary design teams to ensure compliance with building codes and project specifications.
- Produce and review technical documentation including electrical single-line diagrams and related drawings.
- Provide hands-on design input and generate sketches to support drafting teams.
- Explore and evaluate design options; document engineering decisions and ensure traceability.
- Ensure all engineering outputs adhere to internal quality standards and client specifications.
- Coordinate closely with other disciplines including Process HVAC Piping EHS Commissioning & Qualification (C&Q) and Procurement to ensure seamless integration of LV systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in LV electrical engineering within an engineering consultancy or pharma/cleanroom project environment.
- Solid understanding of electrical design standards low voltage distribution systems and applicable building/electrical codes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general design tools; experience with electrical design software is a plus.
- Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead technical discussions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Team-oriented proactive and adaptable with a strong focus on client satisfaction and results.
