Software Engineer I
Join our growing Software for External Medical Device team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge applications that support implantable medical devices.
Your Responsibilities
- Works with more senior engineers to develop designs and code according to specifications.
- Generates and executes verification for each work product.
- Generates and maintains software documentation required for the project.
- Works within a team taking direction from the team lead.
- Works on problems of limited scope.
- Follows defined practices and policies in developing methods techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
- Remains current in relevant software development processes techniques and tools.
- Remains current in the latest advances and developments in the application area for which the company generates products.
- Learns applicable processes and policies.
- Works to improve software development skills and learns about appropriate technologies
- Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of the manager.
Your Profile
Education / Experience Requirements
- BS degree in the field of software engineering or related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Additional Preferred Knowledge Skills Abilities
- Experience in medical device or similarly-regulated industry.
- Some experience with the operating environments development environments support libraries source code management and debugging tools currently in use by the company.
- Some education or training in the application area for which the company generates software products.
- C# Experience.
- Interest in cybersecurity.
