Role Details
We are looking for an experienced academic to join our team and contribute to the development and delivery of our practice-based interdisciplinary curriculum.
Our teaching supports students from diverse backgrounds to become critical reflective and collaborative learners. Through creative cross-disciplinary approaches we prepare students to engage with real-world social cultural political and ethical challenges.
The successful candidate will have prior experience and expertise in teaching interdisciplinary and/or shared learning modules and a strong ability to connect academic learning to global professional cultural and civic contexts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading experiential interdisciplinary learning for foundation and first-year students from across the full range of our courses
- Contributing to interdisciplinary teaching at higher levels of study
- Supporting curriculum development across the university
- Enhancing staff development in interdisciplinary pedagogy reflexive teaching and innovative assessment
