Job Overview:
As an Automation Engineer at AI-Gen 1000 you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing advanced automation solutions to optimize manufacturing processes. You will work closely with a team of engineers data scientists and product managers to design build and maintain robotic systems that enhance efficiency and productivity. This position requires a creative and driven individual with a passion for innovation and a strong technical background in automation and robotics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and implement automated systems and processes for manufacturing optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and improve existing systems.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including system designs user manuals and standard operating procedures.
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in robotics and automation technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automated systems and ensure their optimal performance.
- Participate in the testing and validation of new automation solutions ensuring they meet quality and performance standards.
- Provide technical support and training to team members and customers on the use of automated systems.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of AI-Gen 1000s automation capabilities through innovation and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Automation Engineering Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing automated systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of robotics control systems and industrial automation technologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python C or similar.
- Experience with PLC programming and HMI development.
- Familiarity with CAD software and simulation tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Creative and driven mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
