Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a temporary part time opportunity as OSHC Manager based at Glenora to cover a period of leave for 9 weeks.

This could be a great opportunity to gain valuable management experience.

The OSHC Service Manager has responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service in accordance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and plays a pivotal role in shaping environments where children are safe and can thrive educators are empowered and families are supported.

You will work directly with three OSHC services to continue to provide high quality and engaging program for children aged 4 to 12 years. The programs consist of Before School Care After School Care and Vacation Care.

In this role you will:

  • Lead the delivery of high-quality safe and inclusive education and care programs
  • Oversee all aspects of service operations including family engagement people management and compliance
  • Mentor and develop your team to deliver best-practice pedagogy and exceed quality standards
  • Build strong trusting relationships with children families and educators
  • Carry out Nominated Supervisor responsibilities ensuring the service meets the National Quality Standard and legislative requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement and prepare the service for Assessment and Rating success

What youll bring:

  • Significant experience in the Education & Care sector with proven leadership skills and capability to act as Nominated Supervisor
  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong understanding and practical application of the National Quality Framework and associated legislation
  • ACECQA-approved Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • A current Tasmanian Registration for Working with Vulnerable People and the ability to obtain a current National Police Check
