Essential Function
The LAB Merchandising Coordinator maintains a professional store environment and that will lead the organization in visual and brand standard execution. Participates in various merchandising projects and store tasks in a true Lab Store that will test and time all store assigned tasks prior to building communications and releasing to the field. Acts as a liaison to the field for questions or support of tasks having firsthand knowledge of the execution and directions related to them.
Primary Duties
- 80% Supports implementation of merchandising related projects for all stores by completing POGs and creating visual merchandising displays according to recommended brand standards. Provides feedback on ease of implementation records the amount of time spent on execution and any obstacles or recommendations to improve processes prior to deploying to the field.
- Participates in testing all store level activity including brand standards POG execution & support price changes store tools and all store related tasks.
- Acts as a resource and answers Athena task related questions from store teams across the country while building positive working relationships.
- Keeps records of store interactions via telephone or email on smartsheet recording details of inquiries concerns comments as well as actions taken.
- Process weekly Miscellaneous Supply and Name Tag requests from Athena
- Process weekly shipment inventory adjustments and Athena projects specific to 87031
- Record all sales in the POS and handle all monetary transactions such as sales returns and exchanges accurately and efficiently. Completes daily paperwork and reporting required for store operations.
- Validate all CRM RCC and Store facing coupon offers monthly or as needed.
- Manage 1st of Month and Pricing Smartsheet and work cross functionally with COE Team.
- Occasionally attend cross-functional working team meetings to provide precise and effective feedback that will be used to influence key decisions.
- Undertake and complete other work-related responsibilities as assigned by Manager.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Associates degree or equivalent combined education/work experience.
- 1 plus year retail experience.
- Working experience and knowledge of retail store operations including merchandising.
- Experience in excel word smartsheet and power point.
- Strong customer service skills.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
The position requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking; recurring bending crouching stooping stretching reaching or similar activities; recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes. The work may require specific but common physical characteristics and abilities such as above-average agility and dexterity.
The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices meeting and training rooms libraries and residences or commercial vehicles e.g use of safe work practices with office equipment avoidance of trips and falls observance of fire regulations and traffic signals etc. The work area is adequately lighted heated and ventilated.
